about

“A dead woman has given you directions, and so you go. Lafayette Square is fixed at the terminus of 16th and H Northwest. You’ll find him in the center, unmoving astride his horse. The voice on the tape said to find Andrew Jackson. These days this is the only Andrew Jackson around. So approach the statue. Get as close as you can. Ponder the grand building that lies on the other side of Pennsylvania Avenue. And don’t forget to say. “Natalie Washington sent me.””
